it's 11:53 am and i just had my first trick-or-treaters. i knew they were going to start coming early; a bunch of friends refused to believe that they come before it gets dark. why waste all of that candy-getting time? if halloween landed on a weekend back in the days where i could still get away with trick or treating, i would be out by noon as well
last night denise and i went to my friend danielle's halloween party as elmo (me) and katy perry (if you don't get it google the "scandal").
we made some spooky treats including witches fingers (success) and spider brownies (epic fail):

now that the worst of school is over for a few weeks (can't speak for denise), hopefully we can start making some holiday boxes. it's kind of frustrating to keep making though when no one is buying, however. but i guess we'll keep trying..
